90 Americans still missing after deadly flooding in Nepal; we now know who some of them are

Nepal's tourism board said more than 500 tourists from 28 countries are among the missing, as loved ones plead for news about their fate.

WASHINGTON — The number of Americans missing after severe flooding near the Nepal-Tibet border is up to 90 as rescue efforts continue and the number of dead rises to 530.

No U.S. deaths have been reported, but officials said around 90 American citizens were still unaccounted for Friday morning, Aug. 28, up from around 65 a day ago. A spiritual organization said that 22 Americans associated with it were unaccounted for.
