Austrian police search for two men who stole diamond necklace in midday museum heist

WASHINGTON — Two unmasked men used a hammer to smash a display case in broad daylight at Vienna's Museum of Applied Arts, stealing a more than $4 million diamond necklace that once belonged to Egyptian royalty. The incident is the latest in a string of museum heists across Europe.
