ARDEN HILLS, Minn. — A cybersecurity incident at Boston Scientific caused a network outage Tuesday, impacting some operating systems and business applications, the company says.
In a statement, the biotech and biomedical engineering firm said it activated incident response protocols and contained the threat, but is still working to fully restore the systems impacted. Of those operating systems, Boston Scientific confirmed Wednesday that it included the ability to process and ship customers' orders.
