Butter Carving
Butter sculpting has been wowing crowds since the 1500s, and it turns out this State Fair favorite has a much more fascinating history than most people ever imagined. A farm woman named Caroline Shawk Brooks from Arkansas took the country by storm in the 1860s, traveling state fairs and carving butter portraits that left audiences completely amazed. Today, Doris Mold from the Moo Booth stopped by to help give butter carving a try firsthand.
