Kamba and Nora make their public debut as zookeepers help begin a gradual introduction process with its family troop.

ST PAUL, Minnesota — Como Park Zoo & Conservatory is welcoming two new faces to its Gorilla Forest exhibit.

Kamba and Nora, female western lowland gorillas who recently arrived from Brookfield Zoo Chicago, are being introduced to the public for the first time today. Kamba, who turns 22 today, and Nora, 12, were both born at Brookfield Zoo Chicago and grew up together in its multigenerational gorilla family. Keepers describe Kamba as having a calm, laid-back personality, while Nora is bold, confident and full of personality.
