Walter Arnett, a longtime regular at Fish N' Pig in Georgia, celebrated his 98th birthday surrounded by friends.
MACON, Ga. — Walter Arnett is another year older, as he turned 98.
On Saturday night, more than 100 friends gathered at the Fish N' Pig in Macon, Georgia, to celebrate at the restaurant where he's spent the last two decades as a regular, earning his own barstool complete with a gold name plate.
"I've been here so long that they decided that they couldn't get rid of me, so they would put me in a seat that I'd be out of the way," Arnett said. "So I have a seat at the bar there with my name plate in gold on it."
