WASHINGTON — Lionel Richie was hospitalized over the weekend after his performance in St. Louis, according to multiple media outlets.

The 77-year-old Grammy winner checked himself into the intensive care unit "out of caution," TMZ and ABC News reported Monday. According to the report, Richie is expected to be discharged Tuesday.
