SOUTH ST PAUL, Minn. — The man who admitted to shooting and killing his roommate inside their South St. Paul apartment in 2025 was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without parole.

Jacob John Audie, 37, waived his rights to a jury trial last week and was found guilty on one count of premeditated first-degree murder and one count of intentional second-degree murder following a stipulated facts trial.
