Minnesota’s sports scene is buzzing with exciting news as a brand-new professional volleyball team called the Minnesota Forge is set to make its debut. The Forge is tapping into a thriving volleyball culture, with more than 17,000 athletes competing across the state. Former Gopher star Stephanie Samedy, the first player signed by Major League Volleyball Minnesota, stopped by the fair to share her story and what fans can look forward to when the team begins play in January of 2027.
