The Minnesota State Fair has a rich tradition of celebrating extraordinary talent, and no one embodied that spirit more brilliantly than beloved blue ribbon baker Marjorie Johnson. Marjorie won more than 2,500 ribbons over her legendary career before passing away last fall at the remarkable age of 106. This year, the fair introduced the Marjorie Johnson Honey Bee Award to honor her legacy, and her daughter Marleen Stromme joined us to celebrate this sweet new tradition.
