SAVAGE, Minn. — A 39-year-old Savage man remains in critical condition after he was shot Wednesday afternoon following an altercation with a neighbor, according to police.
The shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. Sept. 2 on Utica Avenue near 143rd Street in Savage.
According to investigators, the two neighbors first had an encounter involving the behavior of a dog. During that interaction, one of the men reported receiving a verbal threat, police said.
A second altercation later occurred between the neighbors, during which one man shot the other, according to investigators.
