As she accepted her induction into the Rock Hall with the class of 2022, Parton also took the stage with an unforgettable performance of "Jolene."

“Even though I am extremely flattered and grateful to be nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I don't feel that I have earned that right,” Parton shared after her induction nomination. “I really do not want votes to be split because of me, so I must respectfully bow out.”

Parton later told NPR she would accept the Rock Hall induction “gracefully” if she was ultimately selected for the honor.
