'We are not satisfied with an apology' | Minnesota civil rights leaders pledge to continue Target boycott

MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota civil rights leaders and co-founders of a national Target boycott movement said their effort has not stopped, and called on the public to join them after a new controversy this week involving an offensive Halloween costume available on the Target website.

Target issued an apology and pulled the item, which depicted a Black child modeling a costume that evoked racist minstrel caricatures and stereotypes.
